By Paula Griffith
When Courtney's mom and dad were married I made the flower girl and
bridesmaids’ dresses. I saved those scraps of satin and lace for over 10 years.
The background of Courtney’s heart is made with that fabric. The face of the
angel is made from muslin I used for my middle daughter’s Easter bunny. The
blue is from a cheerleading uniform for my oldest daughter. The pink angel
dress came from a baby blanket for my youngest daughter. The silver lame wings
were scraps of material that I used to make T-shirts for family one Christmas.
I wanted her quilt block to be a tribute from all of us.
